We are privileged to meet our customers’ pets every day — to care for them, play with them, and love them. So we thought you might like to meet some of our pets. It’s because we love our own pets so much that we are able to give your pets the great care they deserve, making sure they are happy, healthy and safe during their stay with us.
Here they are . . .
Senior Kennel Shift Lead Carrie Lensing has three wonderful pets at home. Six-year-old Wicked and seven-year-old Miles are American Staffordshire Terriers. They were re-homed to her three years ago after they finished their show careers. Eli is a five-year-old Domestic Shorthair Carrie adopted from an Austin cat rescue about 4 1/2 years ago.
This is Paris, obviously in love with her owner, Kennel Manager Jessica Simien. Paris is an 11-year-old Boxer mix Jessica adopted from Williamson County Animal Shelter in 2010.
Paris is very selective about her people and her friends, but Jessica says Paris is the most loyal dog she has ever owned. Her favorite activity is catching her Frisbee. According to Jessica, she’s so good she could definitely turn pro!
Kennel Tech Patricia Holley has two adorable pets, a cat and a dog. Patricia adopted Naruto, a Domestic Shorthair cat, from the Austin Humane Society in 2016 when he was six weeks old. Quillan is a Schnauzer/ Yorkie mix. He was a surprise gift from her family when he was just a puppy. He’s six years old now.
Kennel Tech Grace McCoy and her husband Damian became Hazel’s foster family in February. Grace met Hazel, a two-year-old Great Pyrenees/Lab mix, while working at Happy Tails and they bonded immediately. Hazel was being boarded while waiting for adoption through Texas Great Pyrenees Rescue. Grace’s adoption of Hazel will be official in June. What a happy ending!
